Wild Growth ChengDu

"Wildness" is not barbarity, but an unadorned vitality—originating from loyalty to one's authentic self, the impulse of roots breaking through the soil, the stubbornness of a seed pushing through cracks in concrete, the wildness of a tree growing freely towards the sun.

Chengdu, a city possessing both a leisurely and passionate spirit, provides fertile ground for this "wild growth." Here,

we attempt to reinterpret the "growth" of female artists: not a docile and orderly transplant, but a spread imbued with warmth, strength, and rebellion. They take root in their era, blossom in their daily lives, breaking through the old order with their own unique styles, writing their own life verbs in art.

This exhibition brings together female artists from diverse backgrounds and age groups, spanning media such as oil painting, illustration, intangible cultural heritage accessories, and handmade dolls. Starting from their individual experiences, they resonate with multiple dimensions of society, culture, body, and nature in their art, weaving contemporary female narratives with a wild freedom.
