The Wand in Hand

A wand is often imagined as a source of power.

Yet its true power has never belonged to the object itself,

but to the hand that holds it.

Every act of creation begins with a choice:

to  speak or remain silent,

to reveal or conceal, to question, to remember, to imagine, or to resist.

Bringing together artists from China, Britain, the United States, France, South Korea, Japan,

Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and beyond, the exhibition spans painting, sculpture, ceramics,

photography, video, installation, performance, fashion, jewellery, and other artistic practices.

Each artist transforms a chosen medium into a language through which they engage with the world.

The Wand in Hand brings together diverse

artistic voices connected by a shared question:

When expression is placed in your hands, how will you use it?

Rather than seeking a single answer, the

exhibition embraces multiple possibilities. Here, the wand is not a symbol of authority, but of

agency—the capacity to shape meaning, open dialogue, and make one’s voice visible.

Perhaps every work is a different spell,

revealing not the power of the wand, but the intention of the one who holds it.
